Founded in 1971 by glass artist Dale Chihuly and patrons Anne Gould Hauberg and John H. Hauberg, Pilchuck Glass School has been a primary force in the evolution of glass as a means of artistic expression. Hampton Inn and Suites Seattle North Lynnwood
Booked the hotel for a girls shopping weekend, and the location was great! Next door to Nordstrom Rack, across the street from Old Navy, Ulta, Barnes and Noble, and less than 5 minutes from Alderwood Mall. Definitely appeared to be in the heart of Lynnwood - lots of places to eat and shop within a few minutes drive. Room was clean and spacious, three internet stations in lobby so never had to wait. Will be staying there again for the next girls weekend! TripAdvisor.com User

I would do it again. You get to go inside and see planes in the assembly process, as well as follow through the final stages of painting and testing outside. The building is HUGE! It really blew my mind. Some of the doors on the side of the building are taller than a football field measured end to end. Amazing!

Harvest Festival at Country Village Bothell
October 9th and 10th, 2010
Come celebrate the fall season at Bothell’s Country Village! Stroll the grounds decorated with corn stalks, scarecrows and pumpkins. Valentine’s Performing Pigs will be on stage on Saturday. Paint a pumpkin! The festivities will also include one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans, the original King’s Kettle Korn, and more! Pony rides, train rides, face painting and other entertainment will be available. Many charter fishing guides will be happy to take you out for salmon fishing, plus crabbing and shrimping. The cold clear waters of our wild, scenic rivers are also home to trophy-size trout and salmon. Local mountains hold hundreds of lakes and streams where trout fishing can be found for those who like to hike and explore. Rainbow trout are stocked in Blackman's and Panther Lakes, located a few miles from the town of Snohomish.

You know our many trails are perfect for daytime excursions. But there's a new sport out there - nighttime mountain biking, that breeds a whole new line of adventurers. Mount a lighting system to your helmet or handlebars, than head to: Old Sauk Trail, a 3-mile flat ride, off the Mountain Loop Highway 4 miles south of Darrington; Schweitzer Creek Loop, an 11-mile forest ride with a hefty climb and a winding, rapid descent, located midway along the Mountain Loop between Verlot and Silverton east of Granite Falls; and North Mountain Lookout, a 13-mile round trip up a dirt road to an old fire lookout, then thrilling steep descent. Located off Highway 530 north of Darrington, cross tracks, then take Forest Service road 28. After 3 miles take a right at the Y on Road 2810. Come enjoy the night in Snohomish!
