The factory tour is truly worth visiting. Me, the aircraft dork and my partner, the impartial observer immensely enjoyed the visit. If you want to see a mode of production truly taken for granted, go to this. The tour is aimed to more of a layman, but I still learned a lot. TripAdvisor.com User

Hampton Inn and Suites Seattle North Lynnwood
Booked the hotel for a girls shopping weekend, and the location was great! Next door to Nordstrom Rack, across the street from Old Navy, Ulta, Barnes and Noble, and less than 5 minutes from Alderwood Mall. Definitely appeared to be in the heart of Lynnwood - lots of places to eat and shop within a few minutes drive. Room was clean and spacious, three internet stations in lobby so never had to wait. Will be staying there again for the next girls weekend! TripAdvisor.com User

I would do it again. You get to go inside and see planes in the assembly process, as well as follow through the final stages of painting and testing outside. The building is HUGE! It really blew my mind. Some of the doors on the side of the building are taller than a football field measured end to end. Amazing!

Intertidal Beach Walks with Beach Rangers
Have you ever noticed a nudibranch or ogled an octopus? Join a Beach Ranger-Naturalist this summer for an introduction to the intertidal community. It all started with the designation of the Brackett's Landing Shoreline Sanctuary in the early 1980's. The City of Edmonds took on the task of education the public about this fragile intertidal resource. Since that time, thousands of children and adults have developed an awareness and enhanced their appreciation of the shoreline, and native plants and wildlife. Walks coincide with low tides and run approximately one hour, rain or shine.

Kayaking
From mountain streams and lakes to the shores of Puget Sound, there are a wide variety of options available to kayakers of all interests and skill levels. One of the most popular versions involves kayaking the backwaters and sloughs of Snohomish County during winter. Three main sloughs on the lower Snohomish River, — Ebey, Union and Steamboat — follow miles of shoreline and several islands. Grassy, shallow marshes with muddy bottoms provide excellent places for wildlife and kayakers.
